The Western Lacrosse Association conducted the 2022 Graduating Junior Player Draft on Thursday night, which saw the New Westminster Salmonbellies draft Haiden Dickson first overall as part of the compensatory/protected player round.

Gabriel Procyk was protected by the Coquitam Adanacs earlier this week.
In a series of trades before the first full round of the draft, Mark Yingling was traded to Burnaby. Nash Moog was traded to the Burnaby Lakers, and then again to the Maple Ridge Burrards.
