2025 1ST AND 2ND ALL STAR TEAMS

WLA ANNOUNCES FIRST & SECOND TEAM ALL-STARS

Burnaby, BC – The WLA is pleased to announce the 2025 First and Second Team All-Stars.

This group includes an outstanding group of players who have excelled throughout the 2025 WLA season and have demonstrated excellence with their play and were key members of their respective teams.


The First team includes Coquitlam Adanacs goaltender, Christian Del Bianco, who finished the

regular season regular season with 592 saves and an 84.9 save percentage. On defense, Drew Belgrave from the New West Salmonbellies, Tyler Garrison from the Coquitlam Adanacs, and Elijah Gash from the Victoria Shamrocks come together to make a dominant defensive trio. 


On offense, Marcus Klarich from the Maple Ridge Burrards, Haiden Dickson and Mitch Jones from the New West Salmonbellies round out the offense. Klarich leads the trio in star points, earning four 1st stars, four 2nd stars, and 3 third stars in only 17 games. Dickson finished the regular season leading the league in goals with an impressive 43 goals in 18 games. Lastly, Jones sweeps the stats page with 48 Assists, 5.2 Points per Game, with a total of 88 points in just 17 games. 

The goaltender selected for the Second All-Star Team is #31 Chris Origlieri from the Victoria Shamrocks. Origlieri finished the regular season with 415 saves, and an 85.9% save percentage. Brayden Laity from the Maple Ridge Burrards, Jacob Saunders from the Coquitlam Adanacs, and Rhys Blake from the Maple Ridge Burrards round out the defense for the Second All-Star Team. On offense, Silas Richmond from the Burnaby Lakers, Andrew Kew from the Victoria Shamrocks, and Ryan Sheridan from the Nanaimo Timbermen round out the offense.

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur league of men’s Senior A box lacrosse sanctioned by the Canadian Lacrosse Association. It consists of seven teams, based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Major Series Lacrosse champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.
