2026 ALL STAR TEAMS RELEASED

WLA ANNOUNCES FIRST & SECOND TEAM ALL-STARS

Burnaby, BC – The WLA is pleased to announce the 2026 First and Second Team All-Stars.

This group includes an outstanding group of players who have excelled throughout the 2026 WLA season and have demonstrated excellence with their play and were key members of their respective teams.

The First Team All Star goalie features Chris Origlieri from the Victoria Shamrocks. Origleri finished the regular season with 555 saves and a 87.4% save average On defense, Sean Kriwokon, Jacob Hickey and Jaxon Fridge come together to make a dominant defensive trio. On offense, Marcus Klarich from the Maple Ridge Burrards and Zach Manns and Marshal King from the Victoria Shamrocks round out the offense. 

The Goaltender for the Second All-Star Team is number #35 Christian Del Bianco from the Coquitlam Adanacs. Del Bianco finished the regular season with 9 wins and 5 losses, 535 saves and 84.5% save percentage. Joel Mullen from the Nanaimo Timbermen, Rhys Blake from the Maple Ridge Burrards and Nick Preston from the Victoria Shamrocks makes up the defense. Noah Manning from the Nanaimo Timbermen, Tyler Pace from the Maple Ridge Burrards and Noah Armitage from the New West Salmonbellies rounds out the offense for the 2nd All Star Team.

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur league of men’s Senior A box lacrosse sanctioned by the Canadian Lacrosse Association. It consists of seven teams, based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Major Series Lacrosse champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.
