Round One of the 2022 WLA Playoffs has been set

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Vancouver, BC– The stage has been set and the first round schedule and seeding have been finalized for the 2022 WLA Playoffs. With an incredible four-way tie, for the first time in WLA history, it all came down to the numbers.

The Langley Thunder clinched the first overall seed as they had the best head-to-head record among the top four teams. They will be facing off against the fourth-place Victoria Shamrocks. With the same 12-6 record, the Shamrocks hold the fourth seed as a result of a combination of goals for and against, and having the least amount of wins in head-to-head match-ups with the other three teams.

The second overall seed is the Coquitlam Adanacs as they have the highest goal differential in games between the other teams. They will be taking on the Nanaimo Timbermen who finished third overall.
