The WLA Welcomes Johnston Meier Insurance as Title Sponsor

Johnston Meier Insurance Sponsors the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA)

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is pleased to announce that Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group has signed on as a Title Sponsor for the 2022 season. Johnston Meier will provide support to the League as a whole and its seven teams across Southwestern British Columbia.

ABOUT the WLA

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur league of men’s Senior A box lacrosse sanctioned by Lacrosse Canada. It consists of seven teams, based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia. Each year, the teams battle for the right to compete against the Ontario Major Series Lacrosse champion for the Mann Cup. 

The WLA season runs from May to August and begins Friday, May 27, when the New Westminster Salmonbellies travel to Victoria to take on the Shamrocks.
