TOP SCORER AND 3 STAR AWARD RECIPIENTS

WLA ANNOUNCES TOP SCORER

Burnaby, BC – The WLA is pleased to present the 2026 Scoring Leader Award to Zach Manns from the Victoria Shamrocks. Manns has been a dominant force in the offensive end for the duration of the 2026 season, finishing with 45 goals, 45 assists in 18 games played. Manns is  an offensive player, and skilled scorer for the Shamrocks who was a dominant force.

WLA ANNOUNCES 3-STAR AWARD

The 3-Star award is presented to the player who is awarded the most stars of the game throughout the season. This year, the award is presented to Marshal King from the Victoria Shamrocks. King totaled 6 first stars, 2 second stars, and 2 third stars totaling 240 points in just 14 games played!

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur league of men’s Senior A box lacrosse

sanctioned by the Canadian Lacrosse Association. It consists of seven teams, based in cities

throughout southwestern British Columbia. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to

compete against the Major Series Lacrosse champion for the Mann Cup every September. The

championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.
