Trade Alert: Claxton to Langley

Burnaby, BC - The Western Lacrosse Association has approved a trade between the Maple Ridge Burrards and the Langley Thunder.

The Burrards will send the playing rights of goalie Charles Claxton to the Thunder in exchange for a third-round draft pick in the 2018 draft.

Claxton appeared in six games last year with the Burrards, playing a total of 59 minutes and 45 seconds, and stopping 35 of the 42 shots he faced. He was drafted into the WLA 11th overall in the 2016 Graduating Junior Draft by the Burrards from the Victoria Jr. A Shamrocks.
